thick snowfall

Fleeting patterns formed by fine fingers capturing fresh snowfall before the wind can shake it free of the build-up.

This is what it looks like when it snows, and boy was it dumping down right at this moment. I like how a bit of the mountain still peeks through.

The snowflakes find anywhere to cling to, an old seed pod weathered to look like leather.

The Grand Hotel, I still think of it as the Lord Nelson, but whatever. This is a "heritage" colour, yeah there are a lot of those colours around here, some not so pleasant but certainly they contrast with a snowfall. Check out the house on the hill!

The corner of the mall parking lot. I'm constantly drawn here for photos, if for nothing else than the sheer number of pigeons that gather here. So what's with the small group brave enough to sit on the ground? Damn lazy is what they are!

The ducks are on the pond! Chicken to jump in the cold water, the scared duck watches his buddies make freezing fools for fear of the danger of a stranger standing near them.
