drive away fear

Well, I guess everybody wins the booby prize. Here it is. It doubles as a record of my tattoo but it serves the purpose here too. Enjoy!

Faster and more focused the wild horse cavorts through an impossible landscape as if adherence to the two dimensional is strictly for the one-eyed. I know that I did this before with horses and a reflected landscape and it was a much nicer photo but I just couldn't resist another example since I'm somewhat obsessive that way.

Caught in the mental wake of an idle engine the tangents drawn from a simple round object designed to increase the flow through the stream, whatever it is comprised of.

Lost in the overgrowth of grass the tiny orb simulates a self contained cell spawning ideas enough to crack the outer shell and distort the inner reflected light.

The plans for the haunted house are in gear. The next couple of weeks will see some pretty frightening things being planned. Whatever your inner beast the time to face the fear is soon going to be here. After all, what is there to fear really, death?, nah .. it doesn't hurt, .... how about chronic interminable pain with no relief but a bullet between the eyes but no desire to die. That is something I think I fear.

But on the other hand one of the things I love, the maple leaf. It's on our flag, it's on the jersey of my favourite hockey team and it's on this branch as if it were glued there. Interesting the things the wind can do and the things a leaf can do when it's determined not to fall.

Just another flower in the long line of obsessive flower collection photos currently stockpiling in the flowers folder. With a great degree of sarcasm, someone called me 'flower boy' today. I once would have dreaded such a moniker, now, ... whatever, with age comes complacency, or an awareness of whether things are worth getting excited about or not.
