im pressed upon

presented as script
words written between the lines
can see their own eye

split down the line the metal makes
when it separates
subject from itself

what kind of impression do we leave behind and is it deep enough to trap a fallen leave and so integrate into the external design a cohesion meant to be in line with the way the foot falls into the next moment

impressed me!
You managed to capture an image I've seen in my mind for years. I've procrastinated over painting it but now there's no need, you photographed it. I see a nighttime desert with a roaring fire in the centre of the top third of the frame. Dark figures dance in circles, casting long shadows across the foreground. What troubles me is the female figure skater dressed like a clown, skating on a little patch of blue ice in the bottom right of the frame.
You gotta love a little imagination.
You should do a show of these and call it real abstractions or something
