lines designed

Again with the plastic flowers on a window ledge. Too far away for me to perform any daring feats of close-up-ness. Do these things really satisfy the need to see colourful flowers through the darkness of winter, for some I guess.

Geometrically designed to mock the glitter in the night sky the milky way crack of paint like textures beneath the wash of stars above.

Repetitive like patterns the emptiness of the buildings gives them a personality that speaks of lonely if not swift.

Standing like they were meant to point at something the lines are angled to separate the sky into balanced proportions.

The plug behind the sky keeps the drain from drawing everything held by gravity backwards.

As if to say come in, the lines curve into the vanishing point beyond the building, still alive in the landscape constantly changing.
